Filipino Teacher Professional Development in the New Normal

The Covid-19 pandemic has posed various challenges particularly in the education sector where ‘new normal’ experience is all about online interaction and distance learning. As health protocols enforce physical distancing measures, actual personal engagements are limited. teacher professional development (TPD) becomes a melting pot of best practices strategies that work, teachers receive perspective helps them create their own vision. findings this study revealed for teachers, TPD route to enhance upgrade knowledge skills growth, with teaching as life-long learning process. Pre- programs included initiatives on content, pedagogy technology, action learning, graduate studies, leadership management, research. During pandemic, were exposed webinars training technological capacity, mental health. Regardless age years experience, have mindset grow profession be better educators. They want unlearn old, relearn new because they students learn according current needs what world future.
